Westaff is seeking CNC Manufacturing Technicians for our client in Portsmouth!

1st Shift 7AM-3:30PM Monday - Friday at $20/hr

3rd Shift 10PM-6:30AM Sunday - Thursday at $22/hr

Job Duties

? Properly startup and shutdown CNC equipment

? Efficiently load and unload CNC equipment with unprocessed and processed parts

? Diligently monitor machine performance, performance basic troubleshooting activities and escalate issues through chain of command

? Manually deburr parts and manually assemble aluminum frames with fixtures and screw guns ? Perform timely basic daily and weekly preventive maintenance on the machines

? Maintain a clean and organized workcell

? Follow all safety requirements and raise safety concerns to the Safety Committee when observed

? Follow written and oral instructions and provide process feedback for continuous improvement

? Perform additional duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

? High school diploma or GED

? 1 year of manufacturing experience

? CNC experience preferred

? Flexibility to work in different manufacturing work cells as needed

? Self motivated Physical Requirements

? Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of up to 100lbs

? Be able to lift up to 50lbs

? Ability to stand for duration of shift

? Close visual focus required

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm $19/hr

Monday-Friday, 2pm-10:30pm $20.10/hr

Job Responsibilities:

-Packing glue bottles into boxes

-working on the production line

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

Able to work independently
