Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

  • Determine the number of trucks to be loaded and delivery trips by running and reviewing the Open Order Report.

  • Call customers to verify acceptance of abnormally large deliveries.

  • Ensure the accuracy of “ship to” information and quantities on the Bill of Lading (BOL) at the dock.

  • Identify small orders that can be shipped via UPS and provide a list to Customer Service for verification and tracking.

  • Provide yard associates with items of outside materials that need to be collected and staged for loading.

  • Stage all material in designated areas using reports for accuracy.

  • Submit pulling reports and loading paperwork to data entry.

  • Perform the loading process efficiently and safely.

  • Clean and maintain a tidy work area at the end of each shift, including trash removal and sweeping.

  • Maintain open communication with supervisors, peers, and departments involved in shipping operations.

  • Ensure the correct vehicle is used each day for loading purposes

 

Warehouse Associate:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Basic computer and documentation skills for reporting and tracking.

  • Prior warehouse or logistics experience preferred, but not required.

In this role, candidates are responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining molding equipment to produce precision-molded components. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and experience working in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Molding Processor Responsibilities:

 

  • Read product data cards and verify correct matchplates and tools are selected /

  • Assemble and align mold components (cope and drag) using proper methods /

Molding Processor Qualifications:

 

  • Previous experience in a foundry or manufacturing environment is helpful /

Machinist needed for a Plastics Molding Company Shelton, CT

The Machinist analyzes specifications to operate all mold shop machinery to fabricate thermoform molds, tooling components, and closure and label machinery parts; repairs existing molds and hi-die cutting knives.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm

Pay: Starting at $27/hour

Key responsibilities of a Machine Operator:

  • Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operation for fabrication, and setup requirements of work pieces and machine tools.
  • Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders to fabricate parts and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications.
  • Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining parameters such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, and/or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control data.
  • Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
  • Verifies and documents critical dimensions and alignment of thermoform tool and components assemblies per inspection procedures using calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other measuring instruments.
  • Must maintain regular and consistent attendance.

Skills and Qualifications of a Machinist:

  • High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine shop with the ability to demonstrate proficiency in the setup and operation of all shop machine tools, inspection equipment and methods, and tool repair procedures.
  • Mathematical: Ability to work with mathematical fundamentals of shop math, including geometry and trigonometry.
  • Technical: Understanding of how thermoformed (sheet) plastic is formed.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate one-on-one and in groups. Ability to understand instructions and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Bindery Operator Position Details:  

 

  • Set up and operate a variety of auxiliary binding machinery, including cutting heads, folding, decorating, binding/gluing machines, and collating machines.

  • Adjust machinery for different production runs, ensuring efficient operation and minimal downtime.
