Duties:
- Minor routine maintenance to facilities by preparing surfaces for painting or staining, changing light bulbs, cleaning gutters and down spouts. This work involves the use of hand tools, wood scrapers, wire brushes, sanders, paintbrushes; primers, paint and cleanup chemicals; and step ladders.
- Employee will assist others in maintaining FWP grounds with maintenance of fire rings and campsites and by mowing, weed cutting, hand-pulling weeds, irrigation, raking, shoveling, fertilizing, planting, and pruning to provide the site with safe and appropriate vegetation. This work includes the use of rakes, shovels, pruners, lawn mowers, weed trimmers and leaf blowers.
- Assists the public by answering questions; providing area and agency information. This work involves the use of employee training manuals, maps and other printed materials in communicating information to the public.
- Follows established procedures and contacts the proper authorities when encountering emergency or law enforcement situations. Collects information and evidence of violations or accidents occurring at the FWP site and documents using standard report forms, establishes communication with local 911/EMS, law enforcement officials, wardens and supervisors.
- Employee will keep detailed records on assigned duties, equipment and supply needs, time worked, and submit to work unit office in a timely manner.
- Participates in annual and scheduled training including Standard First Aid and CPR, and safety meetings. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment on all job duties.
- May collect fees and occasionally educate visitors where applicable.
- Always conscientious of equipment use and demonstrates good leadership to other staff by paying extra attention to visitor use areas and cultural and environmental resources while performing job duties.
- Cleaning and sanitizing restroom and latrine facilities, picnic tables, barbeque grills, and replacing paper products in restroom facilities. Cleaning other FWP facilities including sidewalks, boat/swimming docks, picnic shelters, storage structures, bulletin boards, interpretive displays and other signs. Work involves use of manual cleaning equipment, chemical cleaners, sanitizing agents, stepladders and leaf blowers.
- Daily inspection and reporting of hazards, maintenance or repair needs.
- Minor repairs or responses to facility problems by unclogging drains and toilets, installing toilet seats and closing/locking facilities and redirecting public use.
- Collecting trash from facilities, area garbage cans, beaches, grounds, trail areas and adjacent highway right-of-ways. Placing collected trash in transfer bins for shipment off-site.
Qualifications:
- Incumbent should have the knowledge and skills to work with various types of hand tools and equipment.
- Must have the interest and ability to work with the general public.
- Ability to safely follow all traffic and state laws and ability to tow trailer with proper towing and safety protocols.
- Participates in and if qualified, provides training in Personal Protective Equipment(PPE).
- Should have a good grasp of the general information about each FWP site and surrounding area that the incumbent will be responsible for and the ability to communicate this to the public.
- Must be able to carry out assigned tasks with little supervision.
- Must behave ethically and appropriately when serving visitors.
Physical and Environmental Demands:
Physical demands include frequent exertion, often for extended periods, including lifting, carrying, digging and pounding. This position frequently requires field work under adverse weather and environmental conditions that may include:

Specific Duties:
- Monitors revenue reporting software for accuracy.
- Analyze revenues to ensure accuracy and report both to Controller/CFO and department managers/supervisors
- Maintains, reconciles and balances assorted general ledger accounts.
- Track, reconciling and revenue recognition of various ticket products
- Reconcile the variances within the checking and credit card accounts.
- Reviews, verifies, balances daily credit card receipts, and research chargebacks.
- Assist with semi-annual budget preparation
- Assist with RTP pricing models for semi-annual budgets
- Develop analytical reports for Controller and CFO related to profit center operations.
- Create and post monthly recurring journal entries. Insure all other recurring entries are entered and posted timely. Run final journal entry posting report monthly and review for accuracy.
- Assist with maintaining of all HOAs and liquor license lessees’ books which WSI manages, this includes preparation of monthly financial statements, payment of bills, and the posting of the daily revenues.
- Maintains and reconciles retail inventory accounts through RTP
- Assist with maintaining food & beverage inventory count sheets and processes inventory transfers
- Assist & backup for the daily revenue posting and updating of the “Flash Report”
- Assists the Controller and/or management with other projects as assigned.
- Maintains knowledge on current accounting procedures and seeks training when required.
- Maintains cooperative-working relationships with those contacted during performance of job-related duties.

General Duties:

Job Overview:
Centralized Intake (CI) is a child abuse and neglect hotline staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure that allegations of child abuse and neglect received are accurately assessed to ensure the safety of children. The hotline serves as the central reporting for all allegations of child abuse or neglect in Montana.
Responsibilities of this position include:
1) Gathers information from callers to determine whether statutory criteria for investigation are present;
2) Assigns priority response time and routes applicable reports directly to local offices to ensure identified safety threats are responded to in a timely manner to ensure child safety; and
3) Checks and verifies information from multiple data sources to determine additional requirements; including escalated safety factors of the alleged victim and field staff.

Major Duties or Responsibilities
Conducts Initial Assessment of Allegations to Ensure Child Safety
- Receives phone calls from mandatory and non-mandatory reporters of child abuse and neglect and follows an information gathering protocol to obtain sufficient information from the reporter.
- Gathers information from callers to determine whether statutory criteria for investigation are present.
- Assesses the call report and determines if the referral information warrants immediate or further investigation by field social workers and/or law enforcement intervention in accordance with statutes and the division’s safety practice model.
- Assigns priority response time and routes applicable reports directly to local offices to ensure identified safety threats are responded to in a timely manner to ensure child safety.
- Prioritizes and assigns referrals for field investigation; notifies management and field social worker of critical information and ensures an immediate response when necessary.
- Completes CI Intake Assessment form and required documentation in CAPS and Doc Gen in accordance with policy and procedure to accurately document the information in the report received.
- Contacts law enforcement as necessary for investigation of reports the division does not have authority to investigate and for welfare checks on children whose safety may be of concern; and enters reports from law enforcement when child safety issues are identified.
- Responds to requests for emergency provision of legal consent to treat children in protective custody, runaways, and foster parents requesting assistance.
- Serves as a central point of contact for the public and others seeking information to which they are legally entitled in regards to children in protective custody.
Field Support Services
- Performs background checks to assess prior child protective reports to assess current child safety or risk of harm to assist investigative worker in the field.
- Obtains critical child protection or criminal history from other states when necessary to allow for accurate report determinations.
- Checks and verifies information from multiple data sources to determine additional requirements; including escalated safety factors of the alleged victim and field staff.
- Performs check of Violent and Sexual Offender Registry where need is indicated; and determine safety issues and alerts field worker of issues which may create a dangerous situation when responding to the call.
- Testifies at hearings and in court when required regarding actions and responses to referrals.
Data/Reports
- Records daily activity regarding types of calls received and other performance tasks.
- Prepares monthly unit activity reports as requested by supervisor.
- Provides support and assistance to field social workers by engaging in continuous quality improvement processes with supervisors to ensure that Centralized Intake is delivering appropriate information to field social workers to ensure the safety of children, families, and workers.
