The Distribution Center Associate supports the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring quality orders are processed and shipped on time. This position has the possibility of going permanent. Must be available to work Monday - Saturday 6am - 3:30p. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. $16.00 an hour, temp to hire 

• Order Processing & Picking: Use WMS unit technology to pick products from various environments — dry, cooler, and freezer (up to -8°F) — for store orders
• Product Handling: Stack products on pallets according to proper procedures, operate electric pallet jacks, and maintain safe equipment use Loading & Shipping: Load products from designated locations onto delivery trucks, label totes with routing info, shrink-wrap pallets, bale cardboard, and dispose of waste
• Warehouse Maintenance: Clean and maintain the warehouse and equipment, stage products for shipping, and sort totes/trays
• Safety Compliance: Follow all food and warehouse safety regulations, report unsafe conditions, and perform pre/post-trip equipment inspections

We are currently seeking an experienced Fitter, to fit and tack all shell and tube heat exchanger components and assemblies for fabrication by welders.  Able to measure, layout, and prep all welded connections on the exchanger. This position will require a good understanding of metal fabrication practices, heat effects, metal shrinkage, and growth based on heat input in the welding process. SMAW and GTAW processes will be utilized. 

Essential Duties: Lay-out, fit-up, burn, arc gouge, plasma cut, grind and weld as necessary to form components  to meet required finish dimensions. This may require length adjustment based on material.

• Prepare cutouts as necessary to meet drawing weld bevel requirements and standards.  
• Grind weld material left by knockoffs as required to clean the part to standards.
• Set up and performs jobs based on engineering drawings, shop practices, and procedures.
• Perform internal quality check using appropriate measuring gauges and experience.
• Aids crane operator by visual and vocal signals when parts/assemblies are positioned or lifted.
• Measures and directs the fitting of shell assemblies.
• Use cleaning equipment to maintain the work area in a clean and orderly environment.

Must read and write English language to read weld procedures and fabrication drawings and requirements. Must be able to pass ASME welding test and have understanding and comprehension of the application of algebra and geometry.
