Hours: Monday- Thursday 7a-4:30 and Friday 8a-noon 

 

Custodian Job Responsibilities:

    • Washes windows and mirrors.
    • Takes out the trash and recycling.
    • Wipes down and sanitizes surfaces.
    • Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks restrooms.
    • Follows instructions from the head janitor.
    • Sweeps, mops, polishes, and vacuums floors.
    • Uses common cleaning tools and outdoor power equipment.
    • Organizes the janitor closet and stores all supplies and tools.
    • Completes minor repairs, like switching lightbulbs and unclogging toilets.
    • Follows safety rules and precautions.
    • Adheres to company policies and procedures.

 

Custodian Job Requirements:

  • Prior Custodian experience required
  • Willingness to learn

Looking for General Audio Video Techs, Lighting Techs, Audio Techs, Meeting Room Techs, Speaker Ready Techs, Stage Hands and Ground Riggers

Shifts and locations vary based on client need and schedule

Ground Rigger

  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Read and comprehend floor plans and engineered drawings.
  • Perform truss layout and assembly.
  • Position and set chain motors.
  • Mount lighting elements and other Audio/Video equipment on truss systems.
  • Run cabling to power motors and elements.
  • Assemble graphics and signage.
  • Provide ground support to up riggers.
  • Use hand tools including, but not limited to, wrenches and socket sets.

Lighting Techs:

  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Set and strike truss and lighting systems.
  • Identify lighting element types.
  • Mount lighting elements to truss systems.
  • Use of various rigging knots.
  • Assemble light trees.
  • Identify cables and run power.

Audio Tech:

  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Set and strike audio equipment.
  • Identify miscellaneous mic cables.
  • Run mic cables to multi-channel boards.
  • Operate audio boards.
  • Work with presenters for proper mic positioning and sound quality.

Video Tech:

  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Set up and focus projectors.
  • Set up fast fold screens.
  • Operate cameras.
  • Run video cabling.
  • Video switch and recording.
  • Virtual conferencing.

Meeting Room Techs:

  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Set up projectors, fast fold screens, audio equipment and computers for conferences.
  • Provide support to presenters.
  • Troubleshoot when necessary.
  • Open presentation files for presenters.

Speaker Ready Techs: 

  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Assist presenters with the uploading of presentation into server network.
  • Assist presenters with modifications to presentations.
  • Customer services and ability to interact with high-profile presenters in a professional manner.
  • Set up computers, monitors, and temporary network.

Forklift Operators needed for a national distribution center located at their Hammond, LA location. 

Pay:  $16-17 Hour 

Hours:   8a-6:30PM Monday through Thursday

Forklift Operator Responsible:

  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of specified shift.
  • Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
  • Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy. Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
  • Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
  • Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
  • Maintain the facilities equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
  • Assist in physical inventories.
  • Complete daily inspection of equipment. Perform other duties as assigned.

Data Entry Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Answering telephones , take messages , transfer calls to proper department.
  • Organize and maintain paper and electronic records 
  • Schedule and create calendar invites for meetings, hearings, and other appearances.
  • Greet guests & clients in a professional manner
  • Data entry from documents  
  • Ensure all documents and records are accurately mailed, submitted, and/or forwarded to the appropriate party.
