We have an amazing opportunity available with a local aircraft company for an experienced FAI Inspector.

1nd Shift Availability 7am-3:30pm

$20+ Hrly Weekly Pay, Benefits Available, Pay based on experience.

As an FAI inspector you are responsible for a wide range of Quality functions supporting assembly operations. Follow programs, documents, FAI, drawings, specifications and quality standards to perform inspection functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform first article inspections
• Quality compliance with AS9100 standards.
• Internal Audits, per AS9100
• Supplier compliance
• Communicates with internal customers

EXPERIENCE: 

• Must have FAI experience (prefer Net-Inspect experience)
• Work Experience: Five (5) or more years aerospace applied experience and/or training in quality systems, ISO9001, AS9100 or FAA.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient in the use of precision measurement tools/equipment including but not limited to caliper, micrometer, height gage, hardness and conductivity.
• Familiar with surface finish, edge preparation and general appearance of machined parts.
• Familiar with outside processing certifications
• Knowledgeable of Engineering drawings/models
• Basic knowledge of CATIA
• Develops, applies, and maintains quality standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation. Develops quality inspection plans (Quality Planning), and quality metrics directly related to product quality and quality system (internal and external).

$18-$23/hour, Weekly Pay, Benefits Available.

2nd and Weekend Shifts available.

CNC Machinist Description: Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces. Maintain specifications by observing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; editing programs; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• • Configure mills by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs
  • Load machines with work pieces
  • Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces
  • Maintain specifications by observing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; editing programs; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
  • Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Meet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality
  • Miscellaneous tasks as assigned

EXPERIENCE: 

• Minimum of three years of experience in an aerospace/aircraft machine shop
• Experience with Modig or MAG machines/controls is preferred
• Experience with Multi-Axis CNC Machines is a must

$17-20/hour, Weekly Pay, Benefits Available.

Quality inspector Description: A Quality Inspector performs appropriate in-process and final inspection of machined aerospace parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering and work instruction requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Determine and utilize appropriate inspection methods and instruments (micrometers, height gauges, air gages, radius gages, calipers, CMM, etc.) to complete in-process and final inspection of machined aerospace parts and assemblies, including simple to moderate layouts and setups on a surface plate.
• Initiate nonconformance records and process parts not meeting requirements.
• Complete First Article Inspections to AS9102 and company/contractual requirements.
• Continually strive to improve inspection effectiveness and efficiently by identifying and supporting implementation of process improvements.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE: 

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Associates Degree preferred
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and following planning documents, standards and specifications.
• Strong mathematical skills
• CMM Experience is helpful

25$/hourly+ BOE , Weekly Pay, Benefits Available.

1st shift 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Purchasing the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts
• Developing profitable purchasing strategies
• Forward available inventory items by verifying stock: scheduling delivery.
• Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.  
• Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time and in the event of problems trace shipments and follow up undelivered items.
• Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price. 
• Verifies receipts of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers.
