Schedule:
Monday - Friday
6am - 2:30pm
Responsibilities of Forklift Operator:
- Adheres to established safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
- Verifies that the product and quantity received matches the inbound packing tickets
- Prepares packing slips, shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documents as needed
- Consolidates specific shipments from multiple order processing zones for processing as needed
- Ensures warehouse work areas and equipment are clean, orderly and properly maintained
- Ensures all orders are processed accurately and timely
- Ensures stock is put away in proper isles and properly marked.
- Counts inventory at monthly cycle counts
- Interacts with other employees to resolve any problems with customer orders
- Interacts with external couriers and truck drivers to ensure product is efficiently transferred to and from shipping vehicles
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Will need valid driver’s license.
- Must be 18 years of age
- Reliable Transportation
- Ability to multi-task
- Reliable, organized, attentive to detail, and committed to high quality work productivity
- Ability to regularly stand, walk and lift; occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb or crawl
- Basic computer skills, including information processing required
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to frequently use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to occasionally sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, climb or crawl
- Ability to regularly lift an/or move up to 25 pounds,
- Vision abilities include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
