A leading Plastic Manufacturer Company in Shelton CT is looking for A Setup Mechanic!

Hours: Night shift- 6:55 PM-7:05 AM

Pay: $26/hr

Setup Mechanic Responsibilities: 

• Installs tooling and performs set-ups, as well as corrective and preventative maintenance on thermoforming machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Conducts mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to use cloud-based parts management system (NexGen) to create and execute work orders
• Ability to use calipers, tape measure, protractors, pressure gauges, temperature thermocouples.

Set Up Mechanic requirements: 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a position such as Auto Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, or Machine Mechanic
• High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED). Vocational technical community college, or formal military mechanical and/or technical training a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
