Shift: 8:30am ~ 5:00pm, Monday thru Friday

Pay: $17.00/Hour

Job Responsibilities

• Purchase of all raw material and follow up.
• Inventory verification and purchase requirements.
• Research pricing, specifications, and minimums of ingredients.
• Update database with current pricing, lead times, and other significant information.
• Assures positive vendor relations between suppliers and Nutrition Formulators.
• Manage the search for new suppliers, for new or current RM.
• Assures that all raw material purchased meet required specifications.
• Request for samples and follow up with QC for Suppliers/material qualifications.
• Bring support to Documentation Department regarding Supplier/Material documentation.
• Bring support to Sales Department regarding Costumer Supply necessities.
• Assures compliance with all inventory management requirements.
• Monitor compliance with all safety rules and regulations pertaining to areas managed.
• Other duties as assigned by Purchasing Manager / management.

• High School Diploma / Professional in any administrative career preferred
• One year experience in business-to-business purchasing.
• Experience with cGMP’s.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
