WESTAFF is actively recruiting for CPA or CPA Candidate-Tax Preparer in the Durham area.
$50.00 and up per hour depending on experience.
Day Shift- 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
CPA-Tax Preparer Duties (but not limited to):
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team, prioritize assignments, manage multiple projects, and meet all deadlines.
- Strong work ethic, organizational, time management, analytical and communication skills.
- Detail oriented but also able to step back and look at the big picture.
- Understanding of general ledger accounting.
- Preparation of financial statements, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and reporting.
- Proficient with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Ultra Tax or Accountants Word software is a plus.
- CPA or CPA Candidate preferred
- This is a salaried position and will require working additional hours during critical periods, and tax season.
