Westaff has an Immediate need for an Administrative Assistant position for a Manufacturing client in Farmington, CT!

Job Type: Part time (30 hours a week), temporary to hire

Pay Rate: $17/hr 

Hours: 8a-4:30p, flexible on shift hours during that time 

Our Administrative Assistant will assist the Customer Relations Manager with clerical and administrative support. Areas of support will include typing, data entry and reporting.  They will also assist other departments such as  Sales & Marketing with various projects as needed. 

The Administrative Assistant can expect to do the following tasks:

  • Responsible for customer service and order processing

  • Data entry of client orders

  • Processing requests and preparing shipment material

  • Implement lean project management and knowledge of the value stream

Requirements to have met to be considered for this role are as follows:

  1. High School Diploma

  2. Minimum of 3 years of office experience, assisting departments

  3. Intermediate Excel skills, ability to maintain spreadsheets but also create charts and tables from data analysis

  4. Proper phone etiquette
