Westaff is currently seeking an experienced Picker/Packer for second shift in industrial fans warehouse. The primary function of a picker/packer is to assist with filling orders in a warehouse setting. Picker/packers are responsible to manage warehouse and inventory and package goods as part of the supply chain staff.

Picker/Packer Responsibilities:

• Picking, Packing and Shipping orders to meet or exceed expectations
• Counting inventory
• Identifying possible safety issues
• Keeping an eye out for defective product that would not meet our customer's needs
• Maintaining good housekeeping practices
• Other tasks as requested
• Able to repetitively lift boxes up to 50 lb.

• Have a keen eye for detail
• Have a strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Having basic mathematical abilities
• Demonstrating verbal and written communication skills
• Being proficient in basic computer applications
• Being able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects

Picker/Packer shift hours are 3pm-11:00pm available immediately in Farmington, CT

Picker/Packer Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum two years related experience
