Summary: The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for the timely movement of goods in and out of the Warehouse, and keeping accurate records of inventory.

Job Duties:

• Perform a variety of routine duties to fill orders for shipment and receive incoming materials.

Hours: 7am-330p, most weekends

Pay: $25-$32 an hour doe

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor the welder welds plate, shells, tubes, and structures to fabricate and/or repair shell and tube heat exchangers. 

Essential Duties:

• Performs heliarc welding, submerged arc welding, and manual welding on components as assigned.
• Performs assigned tasks in a safe manner, avoiding all unsafe practices.
• Weld tube in tube sheets.
• Welds tube caps with heliarc welder.
• Performs root passes tube sheets to shells.
• Performs internal quality control of welding procedures.
• Performs grinding and/or cleaning of welds as necessary to achieve standards.
• Corrects welds as necessary.
• Sets up and performs jobs based on shop practices and procedures.
• Controls own welding supply usage.
• Measures and directs the fitting of shell assemblies.
• Aids crane operator by visual and vocal signals when parts/assemblies are positioned or lifted.
• Perform various QC duties.
• Use broom and other cleaning equipment to maintain the work area in a clean, orderly environment.
• Assist in the tool room with documentation, record keeping, and answering employee questions.
• Assists in handing out welding rods/equipment and record keeping.
• Shipping and receiving material record keeping.
