Schedule of the Forklift Operator:

Friday – Sunday

6am – 6pm

$23.28

Duties of the Forklift Operator:

• Receives, stocks and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments.
• Receives material from suppliers and production and verifies accuracy of packing lists against Purchase orders using SAP purchasing
• Screens or “Boxing report”.
• Counts, sorts and stores materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to SAP inventory screens.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distributes items to production areas (as needed on second shift).
• Records quantities of material or items received or distributed by use of Material
• Requisitions, Receiving Ticket, Sample Requisition Forms, etc.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Operates material handling equipment such as fork truck, electronic counting/weighing scales, etc.

Skills and Experience

• Fork-lift and inventory experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work in a team.
• 1-2 years of Warehouse experience desired.

This position requires lifting at least 50 pounds, handling 12 foot long crates with fork lift, computer (email and SAP) skills.

Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred

• Experience with gauges, measurement tools, and audits is a plus
