Westaff is seeking a Technical Specialist for a reputable company in Windsor, CT
Shift: First Shift
Pay: $24-$29 per hour depending on experience
POSITION SUMMARY: The Technical Specialist will investigate and advise customers of parts to be purchased and troubleshoot their technical problems. Review and forecast future demand while improving the quality of our manuals and mage on the customer side. Organize and plan your activity and coordinate with other team members and the factory engineering department.
Responsibilities for Customer Service Specialist:
- Review manuals & BOM classifications for the Engineering Department to improve their manuals and match needs on the customer side.
- Forecast stocking policy following reviews based on the last unit configuration sold.
- Based on the type of parts sold in the past, estimate and prepare stock for new units.
- Support new projects for “parts shipped with the unit.” Review C-BOMs to adapt the RSPL to the specific customer request and to perform the full quotation.
- Support Sales team.
- Identifying parts from technical data provided by customers, suppliers, and our factories.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus
