Operators & Assemblers for a Manufacturer in Farmington, CT!

Pay: $17-21/hr (depending on experience)

Shift: 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift available, 6am-2:30pm, 2:30-11pm OR 9pm-7am (Mon-Fri)

The Responsibilities for Machine Operators & Assemblers are:

• Set-up, adjust & operate metal stamping machines

• Perform metal parts assembly work at various stations within the facility

• Using hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products
• Make minor repairs & adjustments to machine tools & equipment as required to support production demands.

The Requirements for Machine Operator & Assemblers are:

• High School, Trade School graduate or demonstrated equivalent skills
• Previous general machine operating experience – 2 to 3 years
• Ability to read-understand blue prints as needed for production manufacturing
• Longevity in prior positions

• Transport materials via forklift, crane, pallet jack
• Operate metal cutting machinery efficiently and safely

Receiving Clerk/Operator Requirements:

• Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds
• Proficient experience using a computer
• Needs to know basic math such as decimals, fractions, and measurements- will be assessed during interview!
• Steel toed boots required for safety purposes
• Must be a team player and have great communication/work ethic!
