• Customer service experience preferred 
• Mechanical, electrical, or general technical skills required
• Experience with pharmaceutical automation a plus but not required
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills

Schedule Details

• 8-hour shifts (typically 40+ hours), any day from 7am–7pm
• On-call rotations (including some holidays/weekends)
• Overtime available
• Travel approximately 25% of the time

Summary The Yard / Logistics Manager oversees all yard operations, material flow, and logistical coordination to ensure efficient, safe, and organized movement of equipment, inventory, and outgoing/incoming shipments. This role manages yard personnel, schedules deliveries and pickups, maintains accurate inventory records, and ensures compliance with safety and operational standards. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Key Responsibilities Yard Operations Management Oversee the daily organization, cleanliness, and layout of the yard area. Ensure proper storage, staging, and movement of materials, equipment, and inventory. Coordinate the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring accuracy and safety. Monitor equipment condition and coordinate maintenance or repairs. Logistics Coordination Plan, schedule, and track inbound and outbound shipments. Communicate with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient logistics flow. Verify shipping documents, bills of lading, delivery tickets, and inventory records. Optimize yard and logistics workflow to reduce bottlenecks and downtime. Inventory & Asset Management Maintain accurate records of yard inventory, including materials, supplies, and equipment. Conduct routine inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies. Oversee tagging, labeling, and tracking of all materials in the yard. Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams on material needs. Team Leadership Supervise yard workers, equipment operators, and logistics staff. Train employees on safe work practices, equipment operation, and standard procedures. Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching as needed. Assist in hiring, scheduling, and performance reviews. Safety & Compliance Enforce all safety rules, PPE requirements, and OSHA regulations in the yard. Conduct daily or weekly safety meetings and inspections. Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions promptly.
