Job Summary The Fabricator is responsible for building, assembling, and modifying metal parts and structures according to specifications. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints, operating fabrication equipment, and ensuring finished products meet quality and safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment Assemble components by welding, bolting, or riveting as required Operate shop equipment such as saws, presses, grinders, and welding machines Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications Perform minor repairs and modifications to fabricated parts Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project status Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
