Westaff is recruiting for 2 Make Ready Maintenance positions for immediate start!
Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm.
$21.00 an hour.
Long term temporary.
Overview:
Get apartments ready for move in.
Painting- Clean surface to be painted may be exteriors as well interior and consisting of various materials. Remove old paint using scrapes, and wire brushes. Fill nails holes, cracks and joints with putty, plaster, and other approved fillers. Apply coats of premier, paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to interior and exterior surfaces, trimming and fixture of buildings.Carpentry- Construct, erect, install, renovate, and repair casework, cabinets, counter tops, and wood works. Ability to perform multi-trade functions that may include finish carpentry, cabinetry, woodworking, drywall repairs, flooring, door repairs and countertop repairs.
General duties
• Sidewalk- replacement of damaged concrete
• Fences- repair or installation of new
• Removal of bulk trash and debris
• Doors and window- repair and replacement
• Floor finishing
• Drywall and plaster- repair or replacement
