Westaff is actively seeking a Production Manager for a reputable company in Windsor, CT
Shift: First Shift
Pay: Depending on Experience
Responsibilities for Production Manager:
- Coordinate the execution of manufacturing schedules based on sales requirements and plant capacity.
- Determine the plant policies consistent with company policies, direct, and supervise the application of such policies to the plants’ manufacturing operations.
- Confer with plant personnel on the application of methods and production standards, incentives rates, and standards, and adherence to the safety programs.
- Review all recommendations for special machinery, and works closely with product and process research and development programs changes.
- Oversee maintenance of buildings, equipment, plant security and protection.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Eight (8) years of experience in plant operations and manufacturing/industrial engineering.
- Bachelor’s Degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- English speaking and writing capabilities; knowledge of French is desired.
- A proactive mindset with strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of modern quality assurance and environmental systems.
- Knowledge of the ground support equipment (GSE) or industrial products.
