Primary Responsibilities:

Working both independently and with guidance from the Engineering / Tool Shop staff, will perform a wide variety of tasks requiring a degree of skill. Normal Duties:

Assemble new tooling and dies from machined subcomponents.

Sharpen and troubleshoot trim tools to make sure they meet print requirements and cut consistently.

Following safe work practices, perform tight tolerance machining of tools using typical toolroom equipment such as lathes, mills and surface grinders.

Maintain associated paperwork to support quality systems.

Maintain reasonable stocks of tool steels and die sets to support business activities.

Normal Working Conditions:

The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing the company’s accounts payable processes, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, expenses and maintaining financial records. This role plays a critical part in the financial operations of the company, contributing to effective cash flow management and financial reporting. Will require to obtain a TWIC card after hire. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review, verify, and process invoices and payment requests in a timely and accurate manner.
• Match invoices to purchase orders or vouchers, perform data entry, and assist with the reconciliation of accounts.
• Prepare and perform check runs, electronic transfers, and payments.
• Maintain vendor files, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in billing.
• Assist with month-end closing processes, including the preparation of various financial reports.
• Maintain historical records by filing documents and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the procurement and finance departments to improve payment processes and expense management.
• Monthly reconciliation of GL accounts
• Monthly preparation of journal entries
• Managing and auditing employee expenses and corporate travel cards
• Assist in monthly SOX self-assessment and annual external audits
• Assist in Year End 1099 tax filings

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• A minimum of an Associate’s Degree is required in Accounting, Finance, or related field, however a Bachelor’s Degree in these fields is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in an accounts payable or general accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• SAP, preferably S4.
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Experience with Concur
• Strong understanding of accounts payable principles, financial accounting, and general ledger structures.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams.
• Analytical skills to identify discrepancies and resolve financial issues
• Reconciliation of travel expenses and P-cards
• Employee expense reports and advance payments
