Position Summary

Responsible for the setup, operation, and production of quality parts on CNC Swiss machines while meeting production and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines
• Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measuring tools
• Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Troubleshoot machining and production issues
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
• Maintain tooling and equipment
• Deburr and inspect finished parts
• Follow safety, quality, and company procedures

Qualifications:

A busy local dental practice in Alexandria, LA is seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join their team. Candidates with Expanded Duties certification are encouraged to apply, but it is not required. Previous dental assisting experience is highly preferred.

Pay Rate: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Occasional flexibility may be needed if patient procedures run longer than expected.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the dentist during patient procedures
• Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms
• Sterilize instruments and maintain equipment
• Support patients before, during, and after appointments

Qualifications:

Looking for outdoor work this holiday season? A local Christmas lighting company is hiring full-time and part-time Seasonal Christmas Light Installers to help create festive displays throughout the Alexandria and Pineville area. The season runs from September through mid-December.

Pay: $15.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Optional Saturdays
• Full-time and part-time schedules available

Work Environment: Outdoor, physically active work

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Install holiday lighting and decorations on residential and commercial properties
• Work on ladders and rooftops to hang lights safely and securely
• Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of lighting displays
• Provide friendly, professional customer service on job sites
• Remove lighting displays and decorations at the end of the season
• Follow all safety procedures while working outdoors

Qualifications:

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to safely use ladders and work at heights
• Reliable transportation to job sites in Alexandria and Pineville
• Construction, installation, landscaping, or related experience is helpful but not required

What You’ll Do

• Deliver parts, materials, and supplies to local vendors and customers using a company vehicle
• Load and unload deliveries while verifying quantities and paperwork accuracy
• Safely operate company vehicles while following all traffic laws and DOT requirements
• Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping activities
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness standards (5S)
• Perform general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications
