Schedule: Monday-Friday | 1st shift hours

Pay: $51K-$65K annually, DOE

Description:

The Human Resources Generalist reports directly to the Manager and provides support in a variety of areas within the HR Department. In conjunction with all other HR team members, this position fosters consistency and professionalism in the workplace, and instills a productive and respectful working environment, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the HR team to coordinate recruitment and hiring for site-specific full-time hourly positions. This includes, but is not limited to, working with leadership to post jobs, source positions by advertising and pro-actively seeking qualified candidates, representation at job fairs, coordinating pre-screening calls and interviews, and assisting with facilitating the onboarding and selection process.
  • Work with HR Assistant to conduct New Hire Orientation sessions that will provide and foster a positive experience for new employees, and to ensure they begin in the best possible environment. 
  • Assist with and support company training sessions as requested.
  • Work with leadership to ensure Job Descriptions are developed for all positions and are consistently formatted and updated per established company guidelines.
  • Assist HR Manager as needed with disability and workers compensation claim management.
  • Utilize and maintain HR Information System (HRIS) and Payroll Interface to update or initiate employee data, to include new hire entry, payroll changes, and terminate employees as needed under the direction of the HR Manager.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Three (3) + years of relevant Human Resources experience at a HR Generalist level required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, communication (verbal and written) and organization skills.  Must be an effective team player.
  • Computer skills, to include but not limited to, the Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • A high degree of integrity, ethics, and judgment.
