Westaff is looking to hire multiple Driver Helpers for a liquor distribution company located in North Haven, CT!

Pay: $17/hour

Hours: 6am OR 7am start until finish- Monday-Friday (some Saturdays).

• Clients needs/start times will always be confirmed the night before between 7:30PM-8:30PM

This position is ideal for candidates that are open to short term assignments, and OK with an inconsistent schedule. This will never me a full time role. The clients needs would be on a Monday-Friday basis (some Saturdays during holiday seasons) – each week varies, some weeks they wont need any at all. The last two weeks of every month tend to be their busiest.

The responsibilities/requirements of the Driver Helpers are:

• Assist the driver with loading and unloading packages, materials, or merchandise.
• Carry packages from the truck to customers’ businesses, or designated delivery areas.
• Communicate with customers in a polite and professional manner.
• Navigate properties safely, including stairs, walkways, and varying weather conditions.
• Support the driver with route coordination when needed.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move packages—typically up to 50 lbs or more depending on the employer.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work full shifts – must have flexibility since there is no end time, its until finish! 
• Weekend or holiday availability (especially during peak delivery seasons)
