Westaff is looking for a Payroll Benefits Coordinator located in Tolland, CT!

First shift position from 8:00 am-4:30 pm Monday- Friday

 

Responsibilities for Payroll Benefits Coordinator:

  • Payroll Benefits Coordinator will maintain accurate payroll records, files, and related documents. This includes calculating employee's hourly, salary, and commission compensation.

 

  • Payroll Benefits Coordinator receives, reconciles, and process weekly payroll information submissions.  They will also provide guidance on the use of Time and Attendance recording and identify new and labor-saving processes to reduce time required to produce payroll. 

 

  • Payroll Benefits Coordinator will assist in the accurate accounting of accrued paid time off balances, absences, unpaid absences, and be overall responsive to continuously changing weekly payroll. This will include processing new hires, terminations, vacation requests, etc...

 

  • Payroll Benefits Coordinator will be in charge of administration of company’s benefits programs including eligibility, coverage, and related payments. This will include providing benefits information and maintaining these records and files for the orderly benefit program operation. Also includes involving employees in the processing of their benefits claims and interpreting benefit coverage working within and outside the organization to assure proper coverage.

Job Requirements

Requirements for Payroll Benefits Coordinator:

 Education:

 Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Accounting / Systems preferred

 

Experience:

AS 400 system

PC acumen and systems comfort
