Warehouse Manager Needed for Alexandria, LA Agricultural Company.

Pay: $25/hour depending upon experience
Annual Salary: $52,000
Hours:
M – F 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
Sat: 7:30 am to 1 pm (every OTHER Sat)
Paid Vacation: 2 Weeks

Job Duties:
-Maintain controls for manufacturing inventory management (micro ingredients, macro ingredients finished products)
-Maintain and adjust feed formulas based on recommendations from nutritionists
-Manage process for tracking and completing customer orders (from order receipt through delivery)
-Develop daily production schedule
-Track and analyze production numbers and efficiency metrics
-Track feed ingredient usage
-Forecast future feed ingredient needs
-Schedule feed ingredient deliveries
-Track and accurately report feed production tonnage to various state agencies
-Manage medicated feed processes including:
a. Verification of Veterinary Feed Directives
b. Tracking the purchase and usage of medicated feed products
c. Integration of Blue Bird Labeling into medicated feed program
-Manage program to maintain compliance with FDA directives
-Develop and maintain employee relationships
-Develop and maintain customer relationships
-Manage product quality program
a. Date Code Compliance
b. Feed sampling and storage
c. Review feed sampling reports generated by department of agriculture random sampling
d. Assist with feed sampling as required by the department of agriculture
-Learn manufacturing processes and machine operation in order to develop a working knowledge of the manufacture of livestock feed
Basic Mechanical knowledge and hand tool proficiency is a plus.
Agricultural background is a plus.
