Westaff is Hiring for Multiple Assemblers on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift in Farmington, CT!

Shifts: Monday – Friday

1st shift: 7am – 3:30pm

2nd shift: 3:30pm – 12am,

3rd shift: 11pm – 7am

Pay Rate: $18 – $20 an hour

Assembler Requirements:

Prepare work by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprints, CAD drawings, and parts lists
Gather required parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials prior to assembly
Assemble parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and assembly-line equipment according to specifications
Layout and assemble sub-assemblies, wash parts, and prepare screw packs as needed
Verify product specifications by measuring and inspecting completed components
Inspect assembled products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with safety standards
Troubleshoot assembly issues and make minor adjustments or repairs as needed
Communicate effectively with leads or supervisors to resolve errors or questions
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Follow all safety policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, pictorial prints, and assembly instructions
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly-line equipment preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Availability to train and work on 1st shift
