Job Posting: Sheet Metal Worker / Millwright

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sheet Metal Worker / Millwright to join our team for an upcoming project. This is a full-time, project-based position expected to last approximately 12 weeks, with the potential for extended hours as the project progresses.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday: 10-hour shifts (initially)

  • Saturday: Half-day

  • Transition to 12-hour shifts as required

Compensation

  • $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

  • Fabricate, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal components

  • Install, align, calibrate, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment

  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs

  • Safely operate shears, brakes, rollers, welding equipment, and measuring instruments

  • Ensure all work meets applicable quality, safety, and code standards

  • Collaborate with engineers, operators, and other trades

  • Maintain accurate material, maintenance, and project documentation

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Worker, Millwright, or related trade

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools

  • Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and best practices

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
