Job Opening: Software Support Help Desk Rep

Westaff has an immediate opening for a Help Desk Support Clerk for a great company located in downtown Baton Rouge.
This is a temp to hire position.
Monday – Friday 8-5 with the expectation of some overtime
Overview: Must have extensive experience with multiple software packages and be able to self-teach custom developed software. Candidate must have a minimum of 12 months of Helpdesk or support experience (specifically software support); must possess excellent communication/telephone skills with the ability to learn quickly, multi-task, handle stress easily and “go with the flow” with other members of our team. Successful candidates must be able to work with end-users as well as other team members.
Answers and routes telephone calls and emails.
Requirements & Skills :
High School diploma
Fluency in English
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Minimum one year’s experience in clerical or help desk support.
Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment
