Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the dispatch of quality products to customers, ensuring compliance with the specifications of each order, as well as the entry and storage of raw materials and supplies, storage and dispatch of finished product and movement of supplies and product finished inside the warehouse and plant.

• Proficient use of both sit down and stand up forklift

• Effectively organize the warehouse area, as well as the inventory to perform efficient work.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices as documented in company policies.

• Knowledge of processing chargeback claims per PEI guidelines

   

• Knowledge and skill in inspecting picking and packing areas for compliance

• Process chargebacks when shipments received from PEI vendors are not in compliance

   

• Review and research reason for chargeback prior to completing

   

• Consult with vendors on chargeback issues to find out the reason for the error, etc.

   

• Serve as backup to the Outbound supervisor or inspectors during their absence

• Conduct daily inspection of picking area to determine accuracy of carton content

   

• Conduct daily inspection of packing area by verifying the accuracy of carton "label" items

   

• Determine that customer label meets customer requirements

   

• Ensure that cartons are packed per customer specifications and are in good condition to be shipped

   

• Walk shipping dock to check carton compliance of labeling, packing and overall carton appearance

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the productivity of the floor, and should be capable of scheduling and monitoring the process flow necessary to achieve metric targets.
• The position reports to the Production Supervisor.

• Ensures that the proper documentation and packaging instructions are available in the department

• Executes a good hand off with clear lines of communication with the next shift.
• Good understanding of the flow of work on the production floor, from warehousing and unpacking, through production, to packing and shipping.
• Communicates all information required by Supervisors and others to assure job quality and on-time delivery of goods to customers.
• Constantly maintains a clean, safe and well-organized work area.
• In addition to the above duties and responsibilities, the employee may be called upon by supervisors or management to work in other areas if necessary.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs routine scheduled and reactive maintenance on all production equipment. Troubleshoots machines and systems independently, focused on root cause analysis. Sets up and runs production equipment for troubleshooting purposes.
• Maintains equipment log utilizing a CMMS interface.
• Work with administrative staff to keep inventory of replacement parts for production equipment.
• Interacts with machine manufacturers and Tech Support as needed.
• Performs routine building maintenance and special projects.
• Quickly react to equipment failures, with ability to diagnose, and repair in a timely fashion.
• Performs all duties to OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70 or any necessary standards.
• Fabricates custom parts for emergency repairs.
• Operates forklift and Scissors lift as needed Reads basic schematics, blueprints, and various production meters.
• Repairs equipment by fabricating parts, simple machining, wiring, overall general repair
