Summary:

standards.
Responsibilities:
• Handling of product produced from a machine
o This could include trimming or clipping product
o Packaging, weighing, and labeling product
• Inspection of all product produced at the machine
o At times measuring parts with gauge pins to ensure that they are acceptable to the customer’s 
print
• Maintaining a clean, neat, and organized workstation
• Communicating any quality issues to the Shift Supervisor
• Communicating and training the Machine Attendants on the next shift

Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper (High-Volume Accounts / QuickBooks Expert)

Location: Alexandria, LA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join our finance team. This role requires a strong background in managing high-volume transactional accounting and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of general accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for high-volume accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Process and reconcile a large volume of financial transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain and update QuickBooks with current and accurate financial data.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, including preparing cash flow projections.
• Assist with payroll processing and related journal entries (if applicable).
• Collaborate with accountants during audits and tax preparation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Support the Finance Manager/Controller with special projects and reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience using QuickBooks
• Proven ability to manage high-volume transactional environments.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
• Experience reconciling complex accounts and handling multi-entity or multi-location accounting (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
