Maintenance Technician

A local Lawrence entrance automation company is seeking out Maintenance Technicians to join their team! The maintenance techs will conduct troubleshooting repairs and preventative maintenance of simple and complex equipment within the production facility.

 

Daily activities may include some or all of the following:

  • Troubleshoots equipment issues in production environment.

  • Repairs and installs equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical, as well as PLC’s, RS Logics Software and pc’s.

     

  • Provides support to mechanics in areas of fabrication, assembly, welding, burning, cutting, pipefitting, and machining.

  • Sets up production lines.

  • Operates and maintains production equipment.

     

  • Keeps equipment clean.

  • Perform machine maintenance and repair.

  • Assumes other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires ability to do mechanical work on ladders or out of a skyjack.
  • Requires ability to do extended amounts of walking or riding of 3-wheel bicycle or cart
