Inventory & Supply Clerk
East Side – Indianapolis, IN
$15.00/hour
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Are you organized, dependable, and comfortable working with parts and supplies? We’re hiring an Inventory & Supply Clerk for a day shift position on the east side of Indianapolis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and keeping operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Issue parts, equipment, and supplies as needed

• Maintain secure storage areas for all inventory

• Track and update inventory schedules

• Receive, log, ship, and stock parts and supplies

• Load and unload delivery vehicles

• Review work orders for accuracy

• Enter requisitions and receiving data into inventory systems

• Complete and process requisition forms

• Assist with distribution at the walk-up counter

• Support department inspection programs

• Answer telephone inquiries and coordinate with vendors

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.

• Basic computer skills for inventory control and data entry

• Ability to lift and move supplies regularly

• Strong organizational and record keeping skills

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

• Clear verbal and written communication

Preferred:

• Experience handling automotive or mechanical supplies

• Experience in warehouse, inventory, or parts environments

Pay & Schedule

• $15.00 per hour

Westaff is Hiring for 2nd Shift Manual Machinists in Farmington, CT!

Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team on 2nd shift. This position will start directly on second shift and is ideal for someone with hands-on machining experience who takes pride in precision and quality workmanship.

Manual Machinist Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate cut-off saws following sheets, cut sheets, or verbal instructions. 

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions

• Select the appropriate extrusion from storage and position it on the saw table for cutting. 

• Activate machines to cut various aluminum parts, making necessary adjustments for depth of cuts and setting machines to automatic cycles. 

• remove finished assemblies to designated areas and prepare them for shipment as required. 

• Clean and lubricate machines regularly, maintaining oil or coolant levels. 

• Follow all company safety standards and procedures

Manual Machining Qualifications:

• Previous operating cut-off saws or similar machinery in manufacturing setting. 

• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Reliable attendance and punctuality
