Location: Warwick RI 
Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm 
Pay Rate: $19-$21/hour DOE 

This role is responsible for following up on a high volume of purchase orders. They will record order confirmations and status, follow up on and resolve issues with purchase orders, and act as a liaison between our outside vendors and our internal Sales and Customer Service Teams.

Responsibilities:

•    Adequately and efficiently process and record a high volume of emailed order confirmations, estimated ship dates and tracking of purchase orders
•    Answer inbound phone calls from vendors and suppliers
•    Research and resolve issues with open purchase orders
•    Follow up with vendors and suppliers on purchase orders to supply payment, obtain status, request invoices, and confirm product deliveries
•    Develop, foster, and maintain excellent relationships with vendors and suppliers
•    Accurately and effectively communicate with internal sales teams regarding status of or issues with purchase orders
•    Perform other miscellaneous tasks and projects assigned by the Purchasing Manager
 
Requirements:

•    1-3 years of purchasing experience
•    Previous purchasing experience in healthcare industry a plus
•    Excellent grammar, verbal, written, and data entry skills
•    Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
•    Knowledgeable in A+ and Salesforce software a plus

General Labor Responsibilities:

• The general labor aspect of the position covers foundational tasks that support skilled workers and maintain an organized, efficient worksite.
• Material handling: Moving raw sheet metal stock, finished parts, and supplies throughout the shop or warehouse.
• Equipment preparation: Setting up machines, such as calibrating, cleaning, and preparing tools for use by skilled technicians.
• Assembly and finishing: Performing basic assembly, deburring, grinding, or sanding on sheet metal or 3D-printed parts.
• Safety and cleanup: Following all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and cleaning the workspace.
• Sheet Metal duties The sheet metal responsibilities involve assisting skilled sheet metal workers with more traditional metal fabrication, which can include both construction and manufacturing projects.
• Cutting and forming: Assisting with shears, brakes, and other fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal.
• Fastening: Helping to rivet, solder, or weld sheet metal components.
• Transport and installation: Moving prefabricated parts, such as HVAC ducts, to the installation site.
• Blueprint reading: Following basic blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions to complete tasks.

General Labor Experience:

• Experience working in a manufacturing setting 
  Experience in sheet metal, metal fabrication, and machinery

• Load and unload materials, parts or products onto a form pallets, skids, conveyors or trucks.
• Record location & label inventory 
• Keeps track of shortages within warehouse
• Organize & monitor inventory 
• Performs quality assurance & inspects finished parts
• Pull and prepare product for shipment. 

Material Handler Requirements:

• At least one year experience with Material Handling 
• Previous PIT operations experience 
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
