Pay: $18-$19 p/hr Depending on Shift

Shifts Available: Start date: 11/21 7:30a-4:00p 

                           Start date: 12/5 7:30a-4:00p, also 3:00p-11:00p

Duration: Seasonal

                              

Position Summary:

The Order Fulfillment Associate will be responsible for picking products throughout warehouse, packing product into shipping packages and processing shipments out for distribution.  Customer orders and paperwork are verified for accuracy and product ships to the customer in the safest most efficient manner to ensure high quality. Level 2 – Incudes leadership abilities, equipment operation and proficiency in critical warehouse functions.

Order Fulfillment Associate (Pick/Pack/Ship/Warehousing)

LEVEL 1

  1. Uses RF scanner or manual processes to pick orders following stock codes listed on pick tickets.
  2. Follows product rotation procedures (first in, first out) or customer shelf life requirements when picking.
  3. Double checks orders for inaccuracies before shipping to customer.
  4. Communicates any shortage or stock outages to scheduler, shipping team leader or manager.
  5. Communicates any quality assurance issues to Quality Assurance and/or manager.

LEVEL 2

Minimum 2-years of experience in Level 1 tasks with demonstrated proficiency in Level 2 tasks, including:

 Ability to oversee wholesale and/or mail order shipping functions. May direct and train seasonal employees and temporary staff regarding daily duties.

  1. Cross trained in all shipping functions and may serve as a back-up to the shipping supervisor.
  2. Serves as a back-up to critical warehouse functions including but not limited to: driving (deliveries & pickups), forklift operation, receiving and warehouse work.
  3. Receives and maintains certification to operate forklift and electric pallet jack.
  4. Maintain a valid Vermont driver’s license and keeps driving record in good standing

Job Requirements

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:            High School graduate or equivalent.

 

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:                  Strong understanding of warehouse functions, procedures, and standards.

                                                                Knowledge of quality control standards and systems.

                                                                Working knowledge of HACCP and GMPs.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:                   2 years experience in a warehouse setting

                                                                Operating forklift and electric/hand pallet jacks.

                                                                Clean driving record.
