Material Handler Duties:
• Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment
• Perform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting or counting products
• Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times

• Basic reading and math skills sufficient to allow accurate execution of Product Specification Sheet and procedures.

• Train as per Nylco CPG category in Procedure # SAFETY-TRAIN training grid. Retrain every three years in Hazardous Waste Handling.

• Review department SOPs with Department Supervisor.

Essential Elements
• Read and understand product spec sheet. Work from product spec sheet, written or verbal instructions.

• Plan sequence of operations for a variety of first time and repeat products.

• Set up and perform operations including inventory verification, proper coating weights and width, roll winding direction, adhesive appearance and temperature settings.
