• Meet production specifications through a variety of machining operations including drilling, grooving, cutting and other related functions
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Proficiency in Reading Mechanical Drawings and Understanding G.D.& T
• Measuring with Micrometers, Calipers, and other Q.C. Equipment CNC, knowledge preferred by not required
• English or Bilingual (Eng/Span)
• Must be a US citizen or Perm Resident status

Deliverables:

· Has an excellent understanding of the flow of work from Internal Operations to Production floor, and to Packing and Shipping

· Maintains all item information, decorating standards and production department run rates current within Syteline

· Works closely with production departments to assigns items to machine ensuring efficient daily scheduling and maximizing department capacity

· Provides large order quotes for production lead times and other required information

· Ensures that all Same Day requests are prioritized and pushed through the system

· Ensures other Order status updates are followed up upon

· Helps Internal Operations with Product Decorating questions

Job Title: Direct Hire Sheet Metal Installer for Freeport, TX

Department: Service

Pay: $25.00 to $36.00 per hour. Based on exp

Job Summary: The Sheet Metal Install Tech is responsible for installing various types of HVAC metal structures and equipment.

Essential Job Duties: • Follow the lead and instructions of the Lead • Consult blueprints, work orders, and/or schematics to safely construct specified structure. • Select appropriate material for each job based on the desired or necessary strength. • Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required dimensions. • Measure, cut, and weld pieces together according to specifications, blueprints, or directions. • Connects pieces or secures seams by riveting, rolling, soldering, or using steel screws. • Perform assigned work on assembly lines such as punching holes for screws or bending gutters. • Use appropriate machinery and software applications to complete assigned jobs. • Coordinate required shutdowns and startups of equipment with other departments after sheet metal installation. • Develop and maintain records for projects and repairs. • Fabricate metal items using various techniques, such as welding, drilling, grinding, and sawing. • Ensure quality and consistency in production processes by assessing, modifying, and/or calibrating HVAC equipment. • Ensure compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices. • Perform other duties as assigned. • Follow all safety guidelines.

Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • 1-4 years of sheet metal experience required.
