Safety Coordinator Needed Near Alexandria Area!
We are seeking a Safety Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity with a growing company near Alexandria, LA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some safety experience who is looking to grow their career in safety and compliance.
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $19-$21/hour DOE
Responsibilities:
- Assist with maintaining CDL driver compliance documentation
- Track driver physicals, MVRs, licenses, and other required records
- Help ensure DOT and company safety compliance
- Assist with incident investigations and documentation
- Support safety training programs and initiatives
- Maintain accurate safety records and reports
- Promote a safe work environment and safety awareness
Qualifications:
- Some safety experience required
- Knowledge of DOT/CDL regulations preferred
- Experience with recordkeeping, compliance, or safety documentation is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a safety-focused role
