Job Opening: Custodian
Description
Westaff has immediate openings for custodians for 1st and 2nd shifts
Duties:
- Clean lobbies, lounge areas, hallways, offices, meeting rooms, stairways, and multi-purpose rooms of the campus by dusting, sweeping, mopping, dust mopping, scrubbing, pulling trash, sanitizing and polishing.
- Clean rugs and carpets using vacuum cleaner.
- Clean glass, windows, mirrors and doors.
- Responsible for cleaning bathrooms, including sweeping, mopping, pulling trash, cleaning sinks, stalls, and urinals and replenishing paper supplies.
- Cleans, strips, waxes and polishes floors using industrial size mops and commercial floor machines.
- Set-up or remove tables and chairs associated with daily events in meeting rooms, lobbies, or multi-purpose areas.
- Emptying exterior trash cans just outside the Union.
- Transport trash to compactor.
Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, climb stairs and use of hands for entire shift.
Must be available to work weekends.
Shifts are 600am-330 pm and 330pm - midnight.
