Construction Laborer

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Westaff is hiring a Construction Laborer to clean, inspect, repair, and prepare concrete forms used in construction. This hands-on position involves working with construction materials and power tools. Ideal candidates have construction or similar manual labor experience and are comfortable performing physical work.

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect and count incoming concrete forms, reporting damage or missing materials.
• Clean forms using grinders, hammers, chisels, and other hand and power tools.
• Remove debris, damaged wood, and other materials from forms.
• Perform minor repairs to damaged forms.
• Sort, stack, and organize forms by size and type.
• Pull and prepare materials for outgoing orders.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials.
• Wrap, label, and prepare materials for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Job Requirements

• Construction, yard work, or similar physical labor experience.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Dependable, hardworking, and comfortable with physically demanding tasks.
