Machine Operator
Location: Fairfax, VT
Pay: $18.50/hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
We are seeking a reliable Machine Operator to join our food manufacturing team in Fairfax, VT. This is a hands-on position responsible for ingredient preparation, equipment operation, sanitation, and quality control.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret mix tickets to determine required ingredients
- Accurately weigh and measure ingredients for production batches
- Coordinate with the warehouse team regarding materials and ingredients
- Perform quality checks throughout the production process
- Disassemble and clean equipment according to HACCP standards
- Maintain accurate production and batch records
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards preferred
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
