Dental Assistant Opening – Alexandria, LA

A busy local dental practice in Alexandria, LA is seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join their team. Candidates with Expanded Duties certification are encouraged to apply, but it is not required. Previous dental assisting experience is highly preferred.

Direct Hire Opportunity – Join the company’s team from day one!

Pay Rate: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Occasional flexibility may be needed if patient procedures run longer than expected.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the dentist during patient procedures
• Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms
• Sterilize instruments and maintain equipment
• Support patients before, during, and after appointments
• Help organize, stock, and prepare the office for the upcoming week each Friday

Qualifications:

• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Expanded Duties Dental Assistant certification is a plus
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dental environment
