2nd Shift Press Brake Operator
Location: Essex Junction, VT
Pay: $25.00/hour ($23.00 base pay + $2.00 shift differential)
Looking for a hands-on manufacturing career with a 4-day work week? We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team and produce high-quality sheet metal components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC press brake machines
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Load programs and make machine adjustments as needed
- Form parts to precise dimensions and tolerances
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Troubleshoot minor machine and tooling issues
- Perform basic preventive maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist other departments as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous Press Brake or CNC machine operating experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
