Dental Assistant – Alexandria, LA
A local dental office is looking to add a dependable Dental Assistant to their team. Expanded Duties certification is preferred but not required. General dental assisting experience is strongly recommended.
Pay: $15–$20/hr, depending on experience
Schedule:
• Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM (may run slightly over if procedures go long)
• Friday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM (cleaning, organizing, and preparing for the upcoming week)
Responsibilities:
• Chair-side assistance during procedures
• Room setup, breakdown, and daily cleaning
• Instrument sterilization and equipment maintenance
• Patient preparation and support throughout appointments
• Weekly prep each Friday to get the office ready for the following week
Preferred Background:
• Prior dental assisting experience
• Expanded Duties Dental Assistant certification is a plus
• Strong communication skills and comfort in a fast-paced clinical setting
