Now Hiring: Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Alexandria, LA. The ideal candidate will have experience operating skid steers and front-end loaders and be comfortable working in an industrial environment. Experience unloading barges is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate skid steers, front-end loaders, and forklifts
• Load, unload, move, and store materials throughout the facility
• Assist with unloading barges as needed
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Work at elevated heights when required
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support daily operations in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Experience operating skid steers and front-end loaders required
• Forklift experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working at heights
• Experience unloading barges is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Experience

• Industrial, marine, port, yard, or bulk material handling operations
• Heavy equipment operation in production or material handling environments
