A growing medical equipment sales company in Bossier City is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with mechanical aptitude who is looking to build a career in the durable medical equipment industry. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Learn and become knowledgeable about durable medical equipment products
- Diagnose and troubleshoot wheelchair lifts, wheelchairs, and mobility scooters
- Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance on medical equipment
- Use testing equipment, including volt meters, to identify and resolve issues
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Experience using a volt meter
- Knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Dependable with a willingness to learn
- Previous repair or technical experience is a plus, but not required
