Job Opening: Distribution Associate
Description
Westaff is Hiring for Multiple Shifts at a Distribution Center in Windsor, CT!
Schedule: 4 days a week, 10 hour shifts. Multiple Schedules Available.
Pay Rate: $17 – $18 an hour
Position Requirements:
- Receive & Scan Inventory — unload, scan, and verify incoming merchandise
- Pick & Pack Orders — accurately select and prepare items for shipment
- Audit & Ship Products — ensure orders are correct and ready for delivery
- Use RF Scanners to track all inbound and outbound inventory
- Enter Data into the inventory management system
- Maintain Warehouse Safety — keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris
- Meet Quality Standards set by distribution center leadership
- May work at elevated areas above ground level as needed
Qualifications:
- Flexible availability — able to work overtime when required
- Physical ability to stand 8–10 hours and perform pushing, pulling, bending, grasping, and lifting
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- 2+ years warehouse or distribution experience
- 6+ months operating material-handling equipment (motorized)
- 6+ months RF scanning experience
- 6+ months inventory system data entry
