Local drilling company in Montana City, MT is looking for a full-time, permanent Drilling Helper!

 Pay: $25.00/hr

 Primary Responsibilities:

• Utilize effective written and oral communication.
• Lifting and handling of drill tooling and materials.
• Operate drilling equipment for environmental and geotechnical investigations.
• Operate heavy equipment and construction tools.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.T
• ravel to job sites.
• Be safety conscious at all times.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.Valid Driver’s License and insurability under company policy required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must pass a pre-employment DOT physical.
• Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL with Airbrake Endorsement within the first 6 months of employment.
• Must be willing to learn to operate drilling equipment using direct push and rotary tooling.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Experience in construction labor, ranch work, or similar. 
• OSHA HAZWOPER Certification
• CPR/First Aid Training
• Class B CDL
• Experience operating heavy machinery
• Welding skills
• Mechanic skills
• Problem solving

Work Environment:

• Combination of shop work and fieldwork in various conditions.
• Will require travel to multiple sites or remote locations.
