Join our team as an Automation/Controls Technician and help build, assemble, test, and troubleshoot custom automation equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble automation equipment from drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret prints, models, and work instructions
- Assemble mechanical components and machine systems
- Wire and plumb equipment under engineering guidance
- Install and troubleshoot sensors, VFDs, and automation devices
- Assist with machine startup, testing, repair, and troubleshooting
- Operate machine tools and welding equipment as needed
- Verify assembly accuracy and inspect completed work
- Maintain an organized and safe work area
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, machining, maintenance, automation, or a related field
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Experience with mechanical assembly and equipment wiring
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred
