Westaff is looking for a Welder in the Warwick RI area for immediate start!
Location: Warwick, RI
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm
Pay Rate: $22-$25/hr DOE
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform welding work based on production specifications and drawings.
- Set up and adjust welding equipment for various jobs.
- Position materials and tooling to ensure accurate dimensions.
- Read and work from blueprints and work instructions.
- Help maintain quality standards and production goals.
- Move and stage materials as needed.
- Complete production and inventory-related documentation.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Work with team members to solve problems and improve processes.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Welding certificate or equivalent hands-on welding experience preferred.
- 2+ years of welding experience in a sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
